Primary and Secondary Colors

Last week we started talking about primary and secondary colors. On Thursday, we started an experiment using jars, food coloring, paper towel and water. Today we looked closely to observe changes, and recorded our ideas about the experiment. Can your child explain the experiment to you? If we only used primary colors, how did secondary colors appear?
