We have been talking a lot about labelling external parts as part of our scientific literacy discussion. Labelling external parts adds detail to our scientific sketches and provides information for our audience. Today the students chose an animal, sketched it (including labels) and then made it out of plasticine. Next week they will use toothpicks and paper to add labels to their animals.
Also, an important school messenger email went out today about rescheduling our Weaselhead/North Glenmore Park Field Study. Please email us by Tuesday, at the latest, if you are able to volunteer on Monday, October 22nd.
